Information about Villa Prinos

Villa Prinos is located in an olive orchard on hillslope near Pelekas village, 12 km from the capital city of Corfu – Kerkyra, close to the Pelekas/Sinarades/Ermones crossroad.

Each of the floors in this two-floor house has its terrace. Access to the house is via a left staircase from the parking lot. The staircase leads to a terrace with the swimming pool and green pergola with seating. The roofed terrace with the main entrance is on the ground floor. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor. Both of the bedrooms have their bathroom and entrance to the roofed terrace. 

The kitchen (fridge, ceramic hob, grill oven, dishwasher, washing machine), dining and living room with a sofa-bed are situated on the first floor as well as a bathroom with toilet. 

From the first floor with a pleasant wooden floor and wood-panelled ceiling, there is access to a terrace with a beautiful distant view.

The house is situated on a slope above the road. Orientation in the northeast provides natural shading of the terrace in the afternoon and allows visitors a pleasant sitting even on hot sunny summer days. All rooms of the house are equipped with air conditioning. Upstairs is a satelite television, where all the common Czech television stations offered by UPC are available. There is also a high-speed internet connection (cable and WIFI).

The house has its parking lot with about 100m long concrete driveway leading from the asphalt road. On the side terrace of the house, there is a small pool with a pergola and an electric grill is available for evening sitting.

The maintenance of the house during the stay is provided by an English-speaking local house manager. Bed linen is being changed once a week in case of longer stay, towels once during a week.

Guests clean the house and take out the garbage themselves during their stay. The garbage container is located by the road.

Homeowners try to do their best to make guests feel great. Guests can look forward to a small surprise that waits for them after they arrive at the villa.

House equipment

We provide more detailed information about the equipment of the house for our guests below. Further instructions can be found on arrival in a written guide in the villa.

The house is equipped with modern technology, which provides a comfortable holiday stay. 

The electrical appliances that are available to guests are listed below as well as basic information on their use. Manuals are available in the house.

• Dishwasher BOSCH (Tablets for the use of dishwasher are available.)
• Washing machine (Detergents are not available)
• Microwave oven with grill
• Kettle
• Koffe drip
• Toaster
• Beater/food processor
• Iron + ironing board
• Cot for a child up to 18 kg.

If you need iron, ask your house caretaker for it. You will find an ironing board in the closet in one of the bedrooms on the ground floor.

Portable electric grill

The grill can be connected to a socket on the terrace or by the pool under the pergola.

LCD TV, satellite receiver UPC Direct

On a television set, you can watch Greek television programs via a room antenna of Czech and foreign satellite programs within the scope of the basic UPC Direct offer.

There is a radio + CD player.

Internet

The house is equipped with an internet connection via WIFI. You can also choose a cable connection. The cable is available.

Air conditioning/heating

- each room is equipped with a separate air conditioning unit

Use of air conditioning:

If you arrive at a time when the temperature on the island is higher than 25ºC, the air conditioning in the house will be in operation.

Use of heating

a)hot water

On your arrival, the water heating (DHW) is in operation. If for some reason this does not happen, or if the heating is switched off during the stay, ask the caretaker to correct it. 

b)heating

If during your stay you need to put on heating, ask the caretaker to start the heating. 

Please do not manipulate the heating and hot water control without asking the janitor!
